Last month our team participated in different events around the world, including Performance Marketing Awards in London, OMR Festival in Hamburg, Affiliate Summit East in New York and Seamless Middle East in Dubai. In this article we collected feedback of our employees who were there.
IPMA by PerformanceIN, London
The 16th annual Performance Marketing Awards happened on 18th May at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London. This ceremony, where Admitad Affiliate was delighted to sponsor the award for the “Best Fashion Health and Beauty Campaign”, recognized the most innovative teams and companies across the industry.
“I am very happy that I have participated in this event. I believe that the night was significant not only for participants but also for everyone who is a part of the digital performance community. I also cannot fail to mention the brilliant performance of Joel Dommett, the host who was responsible for bringing a good laugh to the more than 800 guests. OMR Festival, Hamburg
After two years of absence, OMR Festival was held in Hamburg on May 17-18. The event brought together 70 000 professional visitors and marketeers, brand managers, media buyers, journalists and influencers. Our German team could not miss the opportunity to attend the festival and spent 2 days there filled with fruitful business meetings, master classes, expert talks and after parties.
“It was exhilarating to feel the energy of 70,000 professional visitors at OMR 22. The notoriously well executed event has grown to be the biggest in the industry and an international benchmark attracting celebrity speakers such as Ashton Kutcher, Scott Galloway and even Quentin Tarantino”, said Bruno Acar, Chief International Officer.
Affiliate Summit East, New York
On May 24-25, Admitad US team was thrilled to again descend upon another Affiliate Summit at the New York Marriot Marquis.
“We are thankful to see our industry friends and the opportunity to make new ones. We covered a lot of ground and between us charted over 50 meetings in two days with brands, merchants, advertisers, publishers and agencies. We have also attended Martech Record’s event Marketing, Content and Commerce (MARCC). Big thanks to our agency partners, to various brands, strategic partners and many more for shaking hands and discussing the second half of the year goals. Seamless Middle East, Dubai, UAE
On May 31st and June 1st, members of the Admitad MENA team attended Seamless Middle East which is the region’s biggest exhibition and conference for payments, fintech, e-commerce and retail industries.
“For many years, this has been the premier event that brings together merchants, payments specialists and various services suppliers. For us, Seamless has been an opportunity to seek partnerships with new types of publishers like fintech (BNPL) and loyalty companies. It is also an opportunity to personally meet with many new and current advertisers, alongside the conference from which we gain more knowledge about the latest trends in ecommerce. Seamless will be held in Saudi Arabia in November, and Admitad plans to attend that too”, said Zeid Nasser, Head of Admitad Affiliate in MENA.
